Taj Mahal is pride of India. It is the main attraction for tourist from all over the world. People say it is the symbol of love as this is the tomb of Shah Jahan's most loved spouse, Mumtaz Mahal.
The Taj Mahal is a standout amongst the most popular structures on the planet. It is one of the New Seven Wonders of the world, and one of the three World Heritage Sites in Agra. Agra is generally distinguished as the "City of Taj".
Finished in 1653, the Taj Mahal was worked by the Mughal ruler Shah Jahan as the last resting place for his cherished spouse, Mumtāz Mahal. Completed in marble, it is maybe India's most lovely landmark and is set in the midst of arranged landscape gardens. The insides are enlivened with fine decorate work, fusing marble stones.
It takes hardly 2 hours to see everything but I would suggest to take a local guide to get detail information about the interiors as well and spend some time in the gardens with the symbol of love!
Rest of the time you can spend in shopping of Agra's special sweet dish "Petha"

Agra Fort is huge and it took us 2 hours to visit all the corners of the fort. Fort was charged by the overcoming Mughal Emperor Akbar the Great in 1565, and is another of Agra's World Heritage Sites. It is also called as Red fort. A stone tablet at the door of the Fort expresses that it had been worked before 1000 yet was later redesigned by Akbar. The red sandstone stronghold was changed over into a castle amid Shāh Jahān's chance, and modified broadly with marble and pietra dura trim.
The fortification is a common case of Mughal engineering, adequately indicating how the North Indian style of stronghold development varied from that of the South.
There are many places in Agra to visit but due to shortage of time we could only visit two major attractions of Agra! I will definitely go again to discover this city in detail.
