Scottburgh, South Africa

I took a family holiday to Scottburgh in South Africa. Away from the big city lights, it was a great location, which allowed me access to a number of day trips and sightseeing tours!
TC Robertson Nature Reserve

Go on a Wednesday when they have a tea party - it's all very friendly.

Breakfast at Scotties (Caravan Park)

They do the best breakfast in the area we were told - and they were right. Try out one of their milkshakes!

A visit to Phezulu cultural village

A great place where you can learn about the Zulus, their tradition, language, dances and culture. They are the largest ethnic group in South Africa.

A shark cage dive!

Only for the brave!

A day trip to Durban

Booked with Endless Summer Tours.  If you’re travelling as a family, the kids will go wild for Ushaka, which is a mix of a water park/ sea life centre/ theme park and aquarium all rolled into one!

A half-day rural tour

Booked through The Blue Marlin Hotel. This was the highlight of my trip - hence why I'm saving it until last!
