Jean and Larissa are a couple from Brazil who moved to Australia in search of a better life, and have a thing or two to tell about travelling.
After settling down in Australia, they felt the need to pursue their lifetime dream of travelling the world. One year of planning later, they set off on their longest trip yet, and have been travelling for over 6 months.

Why did you start travel blogging? How long have you been doing it?
We’ve been blogging for a little over 6 months. Before starting our first long-term trip, we thought it’d be great to share our pictures and stories with family and friends.
However, we also realised the great potential of starting a travel blog to share our travel tips as well. We want to share with people our love of this world and offer sustainable and cheap options that are opposite to the mass tourist traps we see these days.
Name your top 3 most memorable places?
Dead Sea, El Nido and Eiffel Tower — sounds super cliche, but it really got our hearts racing!
What’s the best thing about being a travel blogger?
Learning to be in someone else’s shoes. Being a traveller is all about the people you meet and the stories they share.
It’s about the connections you make and the way people share their world with you.
And the worst?! (if there is one)
We really miss a bit of a routine, like being able to have a place to live or base ourselves and make our own projects.
I guess, when we go back to having a routine we’ll complain about not being able to travel so much (and so it goes!)
Give your top tip to a blogger starting out
Find your voice and passion, and then share it with the world.
No two stories are told the same way, so it’s nice to hear it from different perspectives.
Hotel freebies: take ‘em’ or leave ‘em’?
Take ‘em!’ Unless you’re actually not gonna use them, leave it for the next guest.
What’s at the top of your list for destinations this year?
We’re currently ending a 9-month long trip from Australia to Europe.
Our plans changed quite dramatically but we’re happy with what we’ve done so far and are looking forward to visiting Portugal, Italy, Croatia and the Netherlands.
Why should people subscribe to your page?
We like to keep things simple and give only relevant information with our own quirky style.
As we said before, we believe there are plenty of people that struggle with the same questions and doubts as we had before travelling, and we want to inspire all to get out there and do it! We guarantee some bad jokes!
What’s the most unusual thing you’ve eaten on your travels?
Certainly crickets and silkworms in Vietnam. They were part of our 3-day motorbike trip we did with some locals and we simply refused it.
Name a place, city, or country where you feel happiest?
We both are Brazilian and migrated to Australia at different times in our lives. We’ve been travelling for a while and been to a few countries, but none of them make us as happy as when in Australia.
Jean is a citizen and I’m on the way to becoming one as well, and we’re pretty happy to call the land ‘Down Under’ home.
Where’s your next adventure?
We’re heading to Madrid and quite excited for the warm weather! Europe is amazing but we need some sun!
