Why did you start travel blogging? How long have you been doing it?
I started blogging about 7 years ago as I was looking to get a job working on magazines and I needed some experience.
My blog has been a mixture of everything lifestyle related, but I recently decided to cut the rest and focus on my one true love, travel.
Name your top 3 most memorable places?
Ibiza. I've had some amazing times on the island and spent time with lots of different people there. Watching the sunset on the rocks outside Mambo's is a big highlight for me every year.
The Bahamas. These islands are literally like paradise! My favourite day was a trip to Exuma where I fed iguanas, sting rays and sharks!
Skiathos. I hadn't visited Greece for a while until last year. The landscapes are just incredible and there are beaches to discover around every corner!
What’s the best thing about being a travel blogger?
Writing about what I love the most — whether anyone reads it or not!
It's awesome to keep a travel diary so you can look back and relive your memories.
And the worst?! (if there is one)
There’s nothing bad! Sometimes you feel under pressure to travel when you can't necessarily afford it, but travel doesn't have to be a long way away; it can be exploring the next town along.
Give your top tip to a blogger starting out
Work hard! Nothing can be achieved without hard work and if you want to be successful, then you'll need to work hard.
Hotel freebies: take ‘em’ or leave ‘em’?
Take em! I would never take something big like a dressing gown or a glass, but I always take the toiletries!
They come in really handy if you're going to be staying in a hostel or camping.
What’s at the top of your list for destinations this year?
Sadly I've only got one more trip planned this year and it's to my favourite staycation destination, Cornwall!
Why should people subscribe to your page?
It's an honest account of travelling and hopefully my passion for it really comes across.
What’s the most unusual thing you’ve eaten on your travels?
Hmmm probably shark! Not that adventurous really, but it was quite delicious.
Name a place, city, or country where you feel happiest?
I absolutely loved my city break to Rome earlier this year. The city's just so beautiful and romantic and there's something to see around every corner.
Where’s your next adventure?
My next big adventure is Australia. We're in the middle of planning an East Coast road trip starting in Melbourne and ending up in Cairns.
It's somewhere I've wanted to go for the longest time and I can't wait.
